Microsoldering in Amsterdam
Microsoldering and component-level board work for supported Apple, Windows and Android devices when diagnosis shows that repair is technically possible.
Component-level board repair
Microsoldering works on a diagnosed fault at component level, such as a charging IC, a backlight fuse or a damaged pad after a spill. A board replacement can make data stored on that board unavailable, while component-level repair aims to retain the original board and its data where possible. Board work carries a risk of data loss, so make a backup before you bring the device in. We use hot-air, BGA rework and stereo-microscope equipment in our Amsterdam-West workshop.

Frequently asked questions
When does a repair need microsoldering?
Microsoldering may be appropriate when diagnosis locates the fault on the logic board itself, for example in a charging circuit, backlight circuit or liquid-damaged component. The diagnosis determines whether board-level work is possible and preferable to replacing an assembly.
